Request an Absentee Ballot

When can I request an absentee for the 2003 election?
February 3,2003 until April 11, 2003

Print the absentee ballot request form and mail it Election Services Office, or request a ballot in writing, containing the following information:
   1. Name
   2. Date of Birth
   3. Address
   4. Cherokee Nation membership registration number; and
   5. Signature

Do I need to re-register before every election?
No, If you have voted in at least one of the last two previous Cherokee Nation Elections, then you do not need to re-register to vote.

Do I need to fill out a voter registration application to update my address?
Yes, any corrections to addresses or changes in precincts and districts must be done by filling out a new application.
